Calling All Jobseekers, Teachers, Instructors, Gardeners, Foodies, Techies, Climate Advocates, and Aspiring Entrepreneurs and High School Students!

Our inaugural year of AgriTech Skills Development programs reached over 400 people  in 2024 and was highly regarded by both industry partners and institutional reviewers! In 2025, STEM Minds and Boreal Farms initiated an expanded version of AgriTech and AgriFood programs which ran through March 30th 2026, serving over 756 participants!

In 2026, and moving forward, we are excited to continue to deliver programs to high school students so they can focus on the Food and Farming sector as a viable career choice. Watch the video below. Our brand NEW training platform focuses on supporting Skills Development for both current and future jobseekers to build their understanding and foundational skills for employment across the AgriFood sector. Over the last 18 months we have been working with academia and industry to develop programs that are aligned with the relevant skills and experience needed for jobseekers to join the evolving and expanding AgriFood workforce! 

In alignment with various aspects of the AgriFood Value Chain (That currently employs 1 in 8 Ontarian’s) We have designed our Skills Development platform and programs into 9 unique ‘Streams’ that align with roles, innovations and entrepreneurship across the AgriFood sector.

Many of these resources are available for free as pre-recorded training material.
